Founder Story
SoCal Pet Brace was founded by Dave Kou, a Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) with over 10 years of experience serving the veteran community.
What began as helping friends with pet mobility devices during the COVID-19 pandemic evolved into a mission to bring clinical-grade orthotic and prosthetic care to pets throughout Southern California.
Dave's background in human rehabilitation medicine — including advanced joint systems, 3D printing innovation, and personalized patient care — now serves pets and veterinary partners with the same precision and compassion that serves our nation's veterans.
